Activities
At Entumoto Safari Camp, every day is an adventure. Head out on a game drive or a walking safari, spotting wildlife and soaking in the bush. Pause for a sundowner or a bush meal, then return to relax — take a dip in the pool, unwind in the sauna, or stretch out with a sunset yoga session.
For a deeper connection, visit a local Maasai village or the rescue center supported by Entumoto, or spend a night under the stars on a wild camping experience. Every moment here is about slowing down, exploring, and experiencing the magic of the African bush.
-
GAME DRIVES
At Entumoto, close encounters with wildlife are part of everyday life — safely experienced from our open Land Cruisers with expert Maasai guides who bring the bush to life through their deep knowledge of nature and culture.
Explore both the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and our own Mara Siana Conservancy, where off-road freedom offers even closer views. As night falls, head out again for a rare glimpse of nocturnal wildlife and big cats under the stars.
-
WALKING SAFARIS
While walks aren’t allowed inside the Maasai Mara, guests at Entumoto can step into the wild within our Mara Siana Conservancy. Led by our Maasai guides and askaris, these walks offer a rare, intimate look at the bush — from fresh tracks and medicinal plants to the hidden lives of smaller creatures.
Choose a scenic hill walk with breathtaking views over the valley, or a nature walk through the conservancy for a chance to encounter wildlife on foot and experience the rhythm of the land up close.
-
BUSH MEALS
We love arranging bush meals — whether out in the Mara or in our own conservancy. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a full day on safari without heading back to camp. We’ll pack a freshly prepared meal for you to savour under the shade of an acacia tree, surrounded by endless plains and roaming wildlife.
-
SUNDOWNERS
Experience the magic of an African sunset from one of our favorite viewpoints in the conservancy. As the sky turns gold and crimson, we’ll set up a cozy bushfire and serve a selection of wines, beers, and spirits for you to enjoy amidst the sights and sounds of the wild. The evening ends with a short night drive back to camp — a chance to spot nocturnal animals as they begin to stir under the stars.
-
VISIT MAASAI VILLAGE
The Mara Siana Conservancy exists thanks to the land leased from local Maasai families — a partnership that allows us to offer authentic, respectful insights into Maasai culture and life. Guests can visit nearby manyattas (villages) to learn about daily traditions, join in song and dance, and see the artistry of traditional beadwork.
-
VISIT GIRL'S RESCUE CENTRE
We also invite visitors to connect with our community work through Bridge 2 Future, which supports education and the local Rescue Centre — a safe haven for girls escaping early marriage and FGM. Hearing their stories and witnessing their resilience is a deeply moving and unforgettable experience.
-
ENJOY OUR POOL & SAUNA
After a day in the bush, few things feel better than a dip in our pool or a quiet moment on the sun deck overlooking the valley.
Our wood-fired Nordic sauna offers a perfect way to unwind in the cooler evenings.
-
YOGA
Enjoy a peaceful yoga session on the deck overlooking the conservancy. Mats are available on request. We also host yearly “Safari & Yoga” retreats.
-
SPA & MASSAGES
Relax and unwind with a massage in our peaceful spa next to the pool. Choose from several treatments designed to ease tension and restore balance after a day on safari.
-
CONSERVANCY BIKE RIDES OR RUNNING
We have a stunning bike ride around the conservancy. This loop is relatively flat so suits all levels and gives you a great chance to bike close to the giraffe and other plains game.
If you wish to run we can organise a guide. We will have a vehicle follow you as a safety precaution and you can hop on at any time if you run out of steam.
-
BALLOON SAFARIS
There’s nothing quite like watching the Mara awaken from above. As the first light spills across the plains, you’ll drift silently in a hot-air balloon over herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and the winding Mara River below.
After landing, a champagne breakfast awaits — set out in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of morning in the wild. It’s an unforgettable way to experience the magic of the Maasai Mara from an entirely new perspective.
-
WILD CAMP
For those seeking a deeper connection with nature, our Wild Camp offers an authentic fly-camping experience within the Mara Siana Conservancy. Set beside a quiet waterhole near Eden, it’s a place where you can truly feel the pulse of the wilderness — with only canvas walls between you and the sounds of the bush. Evenings are spent around the fire under a sky full of stars, sharing stories and listening to the night come alive.
